if the diaper feels full.....dont push it against you..

SO! saturday or sabado whichever language u prefer it was a plan to go to michaels to get petyl a stocking and decorate it etc. then i was to go to target and get the rest of the christmas stuff i needed and then to frys for salsa stuff!!!!! so i picked up brieson and was suddenly hit with a hugemongous headache like ugh it was like death! and we got to michaels and went in and i was just carrying PJ cuz i thought this would be best and as we walked in to the store i was like "hmm petyls diaper seems full" i though i will just change it before we go into target and then i was distracted by the stocking choices i was going to make when i felt a squish...looked down to see i was now covered in beautiful Pea and Oatmeal POOP! and so was my little nugget! so we had to abort mission and head to the car. Now the situation was so out of control for a minute iwas not sure what to do. We opened the passenger door and bega to assess petyl (the priority at the moment) we carefully slipped her out of her clothing and wiped her down. i shuffld through the diaper bag and found some sweats and a lil hoodie for her. she was good to go and brieson held her while i then had to wipe myself down and gather the poop smeared articles. We then ran into target and i had to buy a shirt. ( now i know most would probably abort the whole mission and go home BUT i truely think it would have been more work to leave the store and attempt to doit again nother time! so i bought a white shirt and changed in the bathroom at target and we went along with our plan....we just left out the michaels because i didnt want to go back in there. IT was a pretty amazing mission and i am sad u missed it!

That's so funny. I totally know those days. I would have used that as an excuse to HAVE to buy a new shirt, too. ;)

I'm surprised that Petyl is 6 months old before this happened. I think you have been living a charmed life. And, as usual, you turned disaster into an adventure.

We've all lived those days. They ought to make the mega shopping diaper. It would be a big seller. I'm glad you didn't let it get the best of you, you showed IT... new shirt, way to go!
